Angel Alvarez is UnionBank’s Unified Communication and Collaboration Head responsible for managing the Bank’s communication and collaboration platform to strengthen strategy across the organization. She graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and is an ITIL and Lean Six Sigma certified. As an IT Professional with more than 10 years’ experience in Banking and Technology, Angel is known for driving virtual collaboration and effective communication through automations and process improvements while ensuring security and resiliency is in place which adheres to the Bank’s policies. This results in operational excellence and optimal financial performance associated with digital transformations. She also serves as a Technical Lead consultant for the Bank’s Contact Center IVR innovations and works closely with the business to enhance design and flow integrations.
