Sean leads a long-term community development effort by collaborating with public, private, philanthropic, and nonprofit organizations to help individuals meet their basic needs while working alongside neighborhood partners to address local priorities and create communities where all people can thrive. Among his more notable achievements, Sean spearheaded the launch of the Chicago Community COVID-19 Response Fund, raising $35 million for 400 nonprofits, and was at the forefront of Chicago Connected, an initiative providing free internet for thousands of families. He has also secured the largest corporate gift in United Way of Metro Chicago’s history, $10 million from BMO Harris, as well as $25 million from MacKenzie Scott.
