SIGNAL is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone – regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or religion (or lack thereof). Twilio does not tolerate harassment of conference participants or staff at any time nor in any form. Our Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all participants.

SIGNAL is Twilio’s annual customer and developer conference. Our conference is for:

  • Developers and product managers putting new customer engagement tools in their tool belts that better equip them to solve communications and customer experience challenges creatively.
  • Marketers wanting to enhance the quality and ability to create effective communications through accessible customer data.
  • Executives building a vision and roadmap with customer engagement and communications at the core of their business strategy.
  • Twilio customers already building best in class customer engagement and looking to deepen their product knowledge, gain insight into product roadmaps, early access to product launches, and 1:1 time with Twilio experts to ask questions, share best practices, and learn from other customers.

We will unveil the next generation of customer engagement tools and teach best practices by engineers who create and innovate the Twilio product-stack. Attendees will also hear from current Twilio customers who have shipped and scaled hugely successful Twilio-powered apps.

These recommendations are in service of giving as much computing power and network bandwidth as possible to the live streaming video. With that in mind, turn off and close out all other applications, and if you haven’t restarted your computer in a few days, now’s a good time.

  • Chrome is the recommended browser. Avoid additional internet browsers/windows being open concurrently.
  • Connect to a wired internet connection for best performance and W-Fi as a secondary option. Avoid VPN connection if possible.
  • Log in at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Make sure your computer’s sound is on. For the best audio experience, use external speakers with an adjustable volume control.
  • If you are having technical issues with the media player during the live stream, please refresh your browser.
  • Prevent your computer from “sleeping” due to your screen saver settings. If your computer goes black during the event, it’s likely the computer went to “sleep.” You will need to click a mouse or press a key to “wake” it.
  • If you are watching from an external monitor or projector, make sure you’re hard-wired from your computer with a VGA or HDMI cable to ensure there are no delays in audio or visual sync.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties with the event platform, please use SIGNAL Help and select the “Help me troubleshoot” option for assistance
